Ahoy hoy everyone and welcome to my DOOM experience.
My time with Doom started out very young. At first it was based on a recurring nightmare, I saw the playstation box art work and the game running a few times just before my 2nd birthday. I'd wake up in my cote screaming. I basically thought that the guy on the cover was my dad, and he was trying to hunt me down in my dream, then obviously when I woke up I was scared.
Years past and my fear of doom soon turned to a fondness.
I would find myself engaged at a very earlier age, having to using the cheats because I found the game to difficult for my skill level at the time.
When I aquired a Sega saturn I played around with doom a bit, but wasn't inspired by it as I first was as a younger child. At the time xbox and playstation were churning out far more captivating titles and doom soon fell by the wayside.
Then one day many years later, while searching the great gamers resource that is youtube, I discovered a new way to play doom. A far more Brutal way!
Everything I liked about doom has remained the same, only to be improved in every aspect. I can freely look around, I can find survivors who help me out tons, I can excute people in hilarious ways and I can even give imps and zombies the middle finger!
This is a must play way to experience doom in the modern age, I hope you try it for yourself.
